At Harinera del Valle, we take pride in our beginnings as a flour-producing company. With 77 years of history, we’ve evolved to become one of Colombia’s foremost food companies. For over seven decades we have been part of the lives of Colombians, accompanying them with a comprehensive portfolio of products made from wheat flour, including special flours, pastas, tortillas, brownies, and premixes.
In commemoration of World Flour Day, we’re pleased to contribute to the initiative of the Flour World Museum by donating flour to the Tobías Emanuel Institute. This institution is dedicated to developing and supporting life-improving projects for people with intellectual disabilities and their families, with the aim of maximizing their quality of life and enhancing their inclusion in the community.
Additionally, the Tobías Emanuel Institute runs the Baker Pastry program, that seeks to train people with cognitive disabilities in baking. The purpose of this program is to provide abilities that promote their inclusion in the workforce.
At Harinera del Valle, we have supported this foundation by providing items for their bakery centre and through various donations. We are proud to support and be part of these initiatives as a flour-producing company in Colombia.
